The Sisters do not think that their charism is a mere lofty ideal reserved to a religious Congregation... rather, it is an essential part of the Christian vocation. It is a work for all Christians particularly in our time, when our divided world is looking for unity and meaning. they believe that many friends, living their own situation, would be happy to join with them in their mission and their prayer.

It is for this reason that the Association "Mysterium Christi" was formed. Affiliated to the Sisters of Christ, the Association is open to any baptised Christian. Membership involves a yearly promise to cooperate with Christ by promoting forgiveness, reconciliation and unity in daily life, undertaking a simple programme of prayer and attendance at branch meetings. Each Associate is sponsored by a sister and, of course, membership entitles all Associates to a special place in the sisters' prayer.

Each local branch develops its own rhythm of meetings for reflection, prayer and some socialising. Thus, mutual sharing, understanding and support grow among us. Each branch also has one sister who is responsible for the spiritual input, although there is a common yearly theme among the branches in the same country. So, we develop unity among us and go out to spread it in our own surroundings.
